GBuy is a direct competitor of Paypal the company that has dominated the online payment industry. During the Beta phase of development started in 2005 Google is not charging merchants for its payment service and lets consumers store their credit-card information on Google. GBuy has an icon posted alongside the paid-search ads of merchants. The goal of this is to entice consumers to click on the ads.
